Welcome to Ear Biscuits. I'm Link and I'm Rhett. This week at the round table of dim lighting,

0:09.6

we're gonna do the Q&A that we said that we didn't know if we wanted to do. That's right. The

0:18.4

last year's series all along the way we prompted you guys to use hashtag Ear Biscuits and let us

0:25.6

know how you were processing and if particular questions arose, let us know. And I think I don't

0:35.1

think we said if concerns arose, let us know. But I guess that happened too. Yeah. Well,

0:40.7

what we talked about last week was how we're processing this whole thing and how

0:48.7

we have a tendency, I think maybe me more than Link have a tendency to once I start looking at

0:54.8

questions and thinking about what people are saying and asking. Like I start wanting to defend

1:01.7

myself and to justify myself, especially if I see that I'm kind of being misunderstood or

1:06.9

misrepresented. But I am becoming a healthier person as I get older and I am learning more what

1:14.7

is just me and my ego. And so we decided to instead of getting into answering questions last

1:20.9

week to kind of just get into our process. But also what we talked about was we don't want

1:27.6

this podcast to become a place where we just kind of spout off our opinions when it comes to

1:34.9

things that we're ultimately not qualified to talk about. And so because you can very quickly

1:39.3

get into this place where two guys who are basically have been making a living on YouTube for over a

1:44.8

decade are sitting around and trying to tell you their particular apologetic perspective. Giving

1:51.6

persuasive arguments for what for what beliefs you should adopt is not something that we're going

2:00.3

to do because there's a lot of people out there who have dedicated their lives to studying

2:05.6

some of the things that we talked about and their experts in their field and there's so many books

2:11.6

that have been written articles that have been written about all the things that we talked about.

2:16.7

So it is up to you to go and do your own research come to your own conclusions.

2:24.0

But I do think that there were a lot of questions that were asked just from a very curious place.
