And that, and, you know, we're going to talk about music history again today.

Because months before I started the serious XM project,

the concerts of change documentary,

I received a book in the mail,

or actually saw it, I ordered, I was in Memphis,

we were with Hallie, she was finishing up

her St. Jude treatment, and a new book just came out.

It was called Can't Slow Down, How 1984 Became Pops Blockbuster Year.

And I picked the thing up and I just could not put it down.

Yes.

It was an archive unto itself of maybe, you know, we have to be careful with nostalgia, right? And when you're

talking about music history, it's, it's really hard for me, I'm saying personally, for me,

because historians, nostalgia is a dirty word for historians, right? But when you're talking about music, something that's

just can play such a powerful role in someone's upbringing and growing up and development

from childhood to adulthood, it's there. Music is there for all the most important

milestones of our lives and all the days

between, right? Music carries us along from good times and bad times. And so anyway,
