This week on the show, the mystery of magus deepens as we discuss chapters seven and eight of Wizard and Glass, part two, Susan.

After three weeks in Hambry, Roland finally meets with Susan to apologize for his behavior,

tell her he loves her, and shows an interest in her hobbies, horses. All is not right in

Hambry, but Roland can't put his finger on it, so instead he puts its finger on Susan.

Meanwhile, DePape has traveled out west and found the truth about Roland and his friends.

What did you think of this week's reading?

We're escalating.

I mean, I was honestly frustrating is as hell, Scott.

This was a week where, I mean, we're definitely escalating the tension.

We are bringing Susan into this sort of game of castles between Roland and, you know, the big coffin boys, I guess, in a certain sense.

And we're showing Roland beginning to lose the plot.

His eyes is straying from the ball, which is obviously bad. Yeah. And I love how,

I love the subtle ways in which King, well, it's not subtle, but like King shows his content noticing

this and their reaction to it and the ways in which they, like, they're worried about it, but not
