Summary

James and Clair Buckley join Russell to preserve their best memories in the Wonderbox. It’s quite a ride. James explains why a man would need five barbecues. Clair explains why five barbecues is too many for anyone. The highlight is probably a story about saving Sonic the Hedgehog from a drugs gang. Sounds implausible but it’s true. Get in there.   James and Clair are prolific online. If you haven’t already come across their stuff then you aren’t on the internet in any way and won’t be reading this. Their podcast ‘In Sickness and in Health’ deals with all things marriage, and you can watch their regular vlogs about their lives on their YouTube Channel .   For Russell's next live dates, keep your eyes on russell-howard.co.uk.   That’s all. Hope you enjoy the podcast. See you next week!   Producer: Dan Atkinson Line Producer: Daisy Knight Exec Producer: James Taylor Composer: Fat Lady Music Learn more about your ad choices. I actively look for things that I can whinge about When you see somebody Running towards a bus and the door's about to shut You do, you hope don't you You pray Are you praying that they don't make it Yeah, there you go Well here's something And I imagine you're trying to they get stuck When I was a kid, this is true. Yeah. Me and my mate, Adam, we'd be on the tube. You know, sometimes I was not massively packed, but a bit packed, so you're right by the door. The doors would shut and we'd be right next to the person. We'd just go, ha ha ha ha ha. I think you can split people into that. That's a good way, yeah. The people that like the people that don't make the bus and the people that like it when they make it. If there's an old man or something, that would be devastated. Oh, that's interesting. There's something funny about that. But anybody else. Does he slip? Does his cane like slip or something? No, that would kill me. But I think James is a good point. Like if he's really, if it was like Captain Tom, and it was like, just bang. Did he have a slip? Statistically must have done. No, an old person that would kill me, especially an old man. I would like off, I would be like, where do you want to go? I'll take you. Old lady? That's interesting. Not as much. You don't feel sorry for old women as much, do you? Not as much. I do to a certain extent. I know what you mean because I think... Okay, this isn't interesting. It's interesting that you've got a fondness for old men, but you don't like old women that's a great

stuff I get it as well because because last there's some wine is I don't know what it is but if

2:58.3

if if there's an old woman living by herself she's still sort of just sort of pot her in about

3:03.7

and like if Claire goes before me yeah I'll go well well, what do I do? I'll just be looking at

3:10.0

the oven and stuff and wondering why the milk's gone all claggy and things like that. Like,

3:15.7

I wouldn't be able to do stuff. But what's interesting is that you're clearly struggling with
