And we are your hosts. We are joined today by a guest that I am very hyped to speak to.

His list of accomplishments is both long and considerable.

He's the creator of shows like Dead Like Me, Wonder Falls, pushing daisies in American Gods, but in this household,

he will always be the absolute madman who launched Hannibal, one of the gnarliest shows ever to appear on network television and we are huge fans of that show.

Brian, how are you doing today? I'm good. Thank you for having me. Hello, gentlemen. Yes, thank you so much for joining us. We're going to get into the King thing in just a second, but this is actually my first time interacting with you and I want to take the opportunity to tell you how much I love Hannibal.

I was initially skeptical of how a Hannibal series could work, you know, like I think a lot of people

were, but I've never seen anything else quite like that show it made me feel like I mean this is a great compliment and I hope you take it that way but watching that show made me feel ill

It made me feel like you know like that feeling when you're coming

out of a nightmare you know and like diarrhea sweats? Not diarrhea sweats? No no that's's how I got when I tried to watch Entourage, but with

Hannibal, there's such this pervasive sense of dread that's just dripping off every line reading and
