This is killer tape, season one, David Burkowitz, aka Son of Sam.

He confessed to being the 44 killer, ordered by a voice speaking to a neighbor's dog,

carrying out his bloody outrage against young pretty women.

I stuck up on him and shot him.

Dr. Burkowitz planned to use the revolver again and again until he felt police were getting

close.

David Burkowitz, 24 years old, found himself surrounded by police.

Well, he said, you got him.

Now the need for a story is not for anybody else from myself.

Police say those words ended the biggest manhunt in New York City history.
