So another very exciting episode.

I have so many books to talk about this week.

I cannot wait.

So we got an email from Haley, and I just thought that it was worth shouting out and reading here today.

So here we go.

Ariel and Raleen, I went into a full spiral when I heard it was pronounced Maria.

As a teacher living in Japan, I had never heard someone called Maria who was Japanese, which was my first thought

also. I looked up her name in kanji and it makes so much more sense now. I think her westernized

name slash persona is Marie Kondo like we know her, but her real name is Mariko. This is a piece of irrelevant

news, but I just thought I would send you a message because I've always wanted to email anyway,

best Haley. So that like got me thinking. I was like, oh my God, her name is probably totally

Mariko. That makes so much more sense. I'm interesting because she, I've watched videos where she

introduces herself as Conmari.

Oh.

So she like, I think that she's just a woman of many names.

I think so.

Because she literally, like, I've seen her go on talk shows or whatever and she's, or like on her Netflix show and she's like, hi, I'm Maria Kondo, but you can call me Kahnari.

And it's like, what's your name? Yeah, what is your actual name, woman? Yeah, so I thought that was just cute news. I think I

might just keep calling her Marie because I feel like Marie and Maria are both incorrect. Like,
