welcome to Invested the Rule 1 podcast we're going to be talking about

Rule 1 investing which is don't lose money. We're going to be talking about

events today and values, I think, a little bit. Well, I realize we, I'm

jumping over, we start talking about an acronym, ruler.

Yeah.

Where you have, you find a stock, you want to know where it's coming from, that's the radar,

how to get on your radar.

Then do you understand it?

Are you capable of understanding the what we'd call the meaning of the business?

How does it all fit together in the industry?

It's moat, that's how durable it is, the management team, and the ultimately the margin of safety, which is what we're going to talk about today.

And then you need to be sure you love it, you like the business that connects with your values.

And we've sort of jumped over that in kind of keeping with these four M's, meaning management,

margin of safety. We're going to come back to that.

To the values. To the values.

Yeah, I mean, it sounds so huge.

Yeah, let's skip, let's focus on the basics.

Yeah, let's stay with the basics.

I think you informed me last time that I had training wheels which is not my favorite

Training wheels are very good though when you start doing this on your own you'll be glad you've got them.
