Nicole Scholet de Villavicencio from the Alexander Hamilton Awareness Society is back to tell us about how we should really all be celebrating on July 2nd, and drops knowledge on Chernow's Chapter 15 "Villainous Business." | 0:58.5 | treaty but Congress actually voted for independence on July 2nd. |

| 1:07.6 | so that's why you see the big July 4th on the document. |
| 1:10.4 | And so people just started using that date instead, but our actual declaration of independence and the vote that Congress took was on July 2nd. |
