23 all-D-HD accommodations that are going to make people's life a lot easier.

0:06.7

And there's three in here that I'm going to flag when we get to them that I personally think has helped me the most.

0:12.5

And I truly believe that it will help the listeners and the viewers the most.

0:15.9

So what do you mean by all-D-D accommodations?

0:19.0

Ord-D-D-D if you've got a dual diagnosis of autism and ADHD, that complex push and pull,

0:27.0

many contradictions, wanting to be clean but struggling to maintain that clean environment

0:31.9

or craving stimulation but also getting overstimulated easily, for example, that internal tug of war. If you live

0:38.9

with that type of neuro type, that type of nervous system, which can be very confusing, then the

0:44.2

accommodations that work well for that are very unique. And I think that's what we're going to go

0:49.0

through today. Great. Okay. So 23. 23. And I think so many people get an ADHD diagnosis at one point in their life, and then they finally realize that actually there's more going on, and they also have autism.

1:04.0

And I think the problem somebody faces in that position is that they then don't know what to ask for, or they don't know how to advocate for themselves,

1:23.3

with this new awareness that they're all-Dd rather than just ADHD so they're also trying to

1:29.8

figure out who they are and therefore really struggle to understand what is going to work for them

1:35.9

in terms of benefiting their life and what was that i remember j bache had a really good analogy about

1:40.7

what all dhdhs feels like it was that there's like two siblings dragging each other across the room by their hair. I love that visual. Very good visual. So I guess if that's what is happening in your brain, you don't really always know what to ask for. So this is a list. It's what you can ask for. Yeah. And the first one, and this is going to be quite, I don't think it should be controversial. I think it's

2:03.0

normalizing not having a shower every single day. I personally do have a shower every day. I'm very

2:09.3

busy. I'm up and down to London a lot. I'm very active. But I think for a lot of people,

2:13.6

it's not necessary. And I feel like there's this kind of unspoken rule that you have to
