All right, welcome to the feministmina Podcast. This is Nancy Wilson. Thank you for

joining me today. I'm just going to have a few more thoughts to follow up

with you on anxiety and then I'm probably going to press on to a different topic.

Anxiety and worry is a bad habit and I think you would agree with me about that and you know what,

it is no fun. It's just no fun to be

worried and we know when we are being anxious that we shouldn't be doing it and it's

just so hard to get out of it and to weed it out of our lives

so that's why I'm spending a little extra time on it with you.

The go-tubers is Philippians for six. Be anxious for

nothing. You know what nothing is it's no thing. Be anxious for no thing. But in everything, by prayer and supplication with

Thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding

will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Sometimes these verses

that we're familiar with, we just need to unpack them because there's so much more there.

And I'm just going to refer also to 1st Peter 5, 6 and 7 and keep them both before us as we talk about anxiety.

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that he may exalt you in due time casting all your care on him for he

cares for you. All right. We might wonder that passage therefore humble yourselves. What's the therefore about what's it referring to and I'll just mention the prior verse and it says likewise you younger people submit yourselves to your elders.

Yes, all of you be submissive to one another and be clothed with humility
