from THP and we're going to be telling our best rut stories of all time. Obviously a lot of

white tail hunters are looking forward to November throughout the whole year and usually create some

pretty crazy stories every year. Whether that's from you or your hunting buddies, usually stuff gets

pretty wild when bucks start getting with does. So in this episode I just wanted to tell some of our

favorite rut stories from over the years and the tip that we have for hunting the rut presented

by our friends at Vortex is a lot of times bucks will get themselves in the unique positions

when they're bedded with does and sometimes that puts them in a vulnerable place where you can

glass them up. For most of the season bucks are usually hidden tucked away in the cover

where they're pretty hard to see but when they get with does a lot of times they'll put themselves

in pretty vulnerable positions where you can glass them up. I've seen bucks bed in open river

bottoms. I've seen them bed red up against the road. I've seen them bed in little isolated

patches of cover with nothing else around them and if you spend enough time glass and whether

you're up on a high point or you're in the vehicle cruising around or you're just looking at a

clear cut or something like that doing an observation setup. If you cover a lot of ground and glass

your way through the timber there's a really good chance you're going to pick up on a buck.
