Yin Yu. She is a board certified Odolaryngologist who specializes in laryngology, which is the

Kara Boyce, Airway, and swallowing disorders.

She practices at the Texas Boy Center

within the Department of Oodolaryngology

head and neck surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital.

She completed her medical education

and surgical internship at Baylor College of Medicine and then fulfilled her residency training with a highly ranked E&T department at the Ohio State University.

She pursued a year of advanced fellowship training in laryngology in New York City

through the Center for Boys and Swallowing at Columbia University Medical Center

and the Sean Parker Institute for the Voice at Wild Cornell Medicine.

Dr. U maintains broad clinical interest encompassing the

breadth of laryngology and has published peer-reviewed research on a variety of

topics including laryngeal dystonia, recurrent respiratoryappolomatosis, and airway stenosis.

She has a passion for education and serves as the director of medical student education and

was recently named the Associate Program Director for the department's new Odollearyngology residency program.
