Renee, it has been, it has been both a long week and a long day. Yeah.

Here we are recording at the end of the week, at the end of August. And it was a very quiet week

as the end of August usually is in the Apple News Universe until it wasn't. Yes. And 95th Mac scored

two blockbusters. They found, they published two product marketing images from Apple, one showing

the new high end iPhones, which they say also revealed will be called the iPhone 10s spelled

with a capital X like the iPhone 10 and an S which may or may not be uppercase or lower case.

And may or may not in Apple's usage have a space between the X and the S with a gold,

almost certainly stainless steel out of rim. And they also showed a new Apple Watch, which is

extraordinary in several ways. And to me is a much bigger leak because it shows new hardware,

definite new form vector, the much rumored larger display or at least larger as a percentage

of the watch face display and a truly intriguing new watch face, which takes advantage of that

bigger display when we will get to that eventually. But at the meta level, I want to start with this

find because I don't want to call it a leak for reasons we'll get into. It's truly extraordinary,

if not unprecedented. Yeah. I mean, famously Steve Stroughton Smith found firmware.

Last year, right? There was HomePod firmware put on a public directory instead of a private one.

And then the GM build for iOS 11 had imagery and nomenclature in there.

Yeah. So last year's leak. And again, part of what makes this extraordinary is that

the Apple world is filled with rumors and the iPhone in particular just because the iPhone is the

most popular product. And there because it's popular, it has the biggest ramp up in the supply chain.

So the supply chain is obviously a large source of Apple rumors and information. A lot of it,

annually turns out to be accurate. A lot of it. I think she quotes just exfiltrates everything

he can out of it. Right. And a lot of this stuff that turns out to be inaccurate is inaccurate for
