Thank you for joining me today as we traverse through the life and times of Coco Chanel,

bringing into our investigation arc this week, fashion, fragrance, and a little fascism, too.

There's a whole lot happening within the life of Coco Chanel, seen as the symbol of sophistication,

a haute couture goddess, with a hidden life too that you might not know so much about in a few different ways.

Of course, we have heard so much about the legend of Coco Chanel within Dominic Dunn's

reporting from Paris Fashion Week in 1998.

Of course, Coco Chanel is long dead by then.

However, her influence and her fashion house

remained today. Our man Nick was certainly no stranger to women dressed in Chanel clothing

through time, as well as bathed in her fragrances too. Fashion is, of course, a huge deal in

high society, as we have seen through our investigation.

Coco made a name for herself in one way or another for decades. Her narrative was pretty tightly

controlled during her life, but oh, so more, has been revealed after her passing.

Today, we begin our journey into her childhood, a few of her loves, and her beginning impact

into fashion and influential playing in high society.

We do have much to thank Coco Chanel for. She single-handedly

rids us of the corset and hooray introduces women to pants and comfortable fabrics. Those are the

good things. Coco will change how women dress forever.

Also, she gives a big boost to sun tanning, if that is your sort of thing.

And Coco does it on her own.

And when I say that, she always stays single.
