Federal Communications Commission announced this big initiative the

Obama administration was going to make to provide more free internet access to all of America,

one giant town hall meeting, an open marketplace for the whole U the whole US of A on the net.

Yes, the Obama administration, the Federal Communications Commission, a number of congressmen

have said one of the big goals of the next decade is to provide internet access, broadband internet

access to the entire population of the United States.

The concept of the big town hall of the 21st century is that the internet is going to be that

gathering place for everybody but there's a ruling that the US Court of Appeals

for the District of Columbia just issued that puts a real kink in that initiative.

The court ruled that the Federal Communications Commission lacks the authority

to require broadband providers to give equal treatment to all
