The topic today is stereotypes and one in particular. But before I get to that, I just want to

describe something to you. We've been going to a lot of high school

football games this fall, and Logos schools had a great season, and I could brag about the boys

and about my grandson here, but I won't do that. But we're in a league commensurate with the size of

Logos, which means eight-man football, against a lot of small towns in Idaho.

And it was a whole lot of fun. It always is. A few weeks ago, we played in the Kibbebeome, the

U of I's football stadium, and I was struck again by the number, the sheer number, of Logos football players

lined up along the sidelines, especially when you compare it to

how many are on the other side, which is maybe a quarter of the number of ours. And the truth is,

the explanation for this is that we've been having children the past couple of generations, while the rest of the country has been either aborting their babies or having no children

or not getting married or maybe having one or two children.

And after 40 years, there is a significant difference.

So where did all these sons come from anyway?

And not only was the size of our team enormous in comparison, the stands were teaming with little boys. Of course, yes, we have loads of

little girls too, but where I was in the stands, it was crowded with little boys, eager to be out

on that field.

Now, for over the past 40 years, Christian women have been rudely snubbed, openly criticized, mocked,

and marginalized for walking down the street with a stroller of all the outlandish things.

This has been true in the States and even more so in parts of Europe

when I was pregnant with our second
