Summary

The first race of the 2021 NASCAR Playoffs is complete after an action-packed weekend of racing at Darlington Raceway. T.J. Majors, Freddie Kraft and Brett Griffin are in studio to react to all that played out in the tripleheader at “The Lady in Black.” It was a big weekend for Door Bumper Clear’s presenting sponsor Offerpad as Denny Hamlin wheeled his No. 11 Offerpad Toyota to Victory Lane. The gang discusses Hamlin’s first win of the season and where his Southern 500 triumph stacks him up in NASCAR Hall of Fame pecking order. Kyle Busch had an eventful Sunday night as he wrecked early, drove too fast into the garage and gave a fiery interview after retiring from the event. The crew analyzes the fine he received and his comments about his car and team, and their preparation for each race. A last corner Hail Mary nearly worked out in second-place finisher Kyle Larson’s favor in the Southern 500. How did the guys react to that move and Larson coming up short? They share their thoughts and who was probably angry after seeing it happen. Derek Kraus isn’t making too many friends on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series circuit this season. An incident with Lawless Alan led to some harsh comments from Alan and Niece Motorsports’ Twitter account. Kraus’ spotter Freddie is open and honest, explaining his feelings about Kraus’ unnecessary aggressiveness this year. NASCAR is reportedly moving the season-opening exhibition race, the Clash, to the Los Angeles Coliseum. Where did this idea come from and is it something the spotters support? They analyze the move and what it means for the teams heading into next season. Kyle Busch voiced his displeasure about the direction the Next Gen car is taking the sport in 2022. Hear what the gang has to say about the overall direction NASCAR is moving towards with the new car and the unknown’s teams are discovering as they begin testing multiple cars together. In Reaction Theatre, Casey gets a call after her daughter’s first birthday party, T.J. gets his colonoscopy results and a drunk fan calls in from the grandstands at Darlington. Then heading into Richmond Raceway, T.J. talks about getting back together with Dale Earnhardt Jr. in Saturday’s Xfinity Series race as Dale Jr. climbs back behind the wheel.
