On today's episode of Strictly Stalking we're speaking with with Belinda, who is being stalked by her ex.

Like many women, Melinda tried several times to leave her abusive ex until she finally got away.

She was stalked during and after she left the relationship.

She filed a protective order, but when he violated it, he was arrested and pleaded

guilty to aggravated stalking.

After leaving jail, the first place he went was to Belinda's house.

Since then, Belinda has discovered he has other

felony domestic violence charges and terroristic threats against more victims

and she continues to live her life in fear.

Why don't you tell us what your life was like right before you met this man?

It was idealistic.

I had a good life. I had a nice home. I had a good life I had a nice home I had a pretty dog I had the house with the picket fence I was doing well on my own

I had I had recently split up from a fiance. We were going to get married in Mexico and I discovered he was cheating and so I decided to be single. I decided I was going to move to an area and figure it out all on my own and I was I was blissfully happy

Life was had some pink roses and flowers to it I had had a great job. I had some great friends. I got to travel.

You know, Florida on a weekend was not an uncanny thing for me because I had a good job and I could afford it.

My life was good.

I was doing very well independently and I was very happy as a single woman. How did you meet this man?

I had met, signed up for a dating website and he was very attractive.
