We are still going strong in our cold case solved series.

Yes, apologies for last week.

We unexpectedly missed last week right when we were supposed to record.

I got sick and it lasted for days and it just unfortunately did not line up. But all better now.

So here we are. And like Jen said, we're still in our case closed series and we are going to bring you another episode in that series tonight.

All right. And so in this week's episode, we dive into the mysterious disappearance and deaths

of Ed and Minnie Marie. Edward, or as his family called him, Ed, and Willamina Mary,

friends and family caught her mini, were 81 and 83 years old, respectively.

Now, they had long run and owned a 120-acre Christmas tree farm in Ethel, Washington in 1985.

So if you can just picture this cute, adorable, friendly, elderly couple who runs a Christmas

tree farm, you cannot think of a more picture-esque family. When Ed married Minnie, Minnie had

three children. They were a blended family on paper, but in all reality,

they were very close and they were a very loving family. Now, the family is well known in the

small community of just a couple of thousand people. Minnie was very active in the community

on her own as well, and she was actually hosting

a luncheon for some of the ladies at her church just six days before Christmas. So this is that

time of year when you're doing lunches and Christmas parties and get-togethers. And Minnie being

the pillar of the community that she is is hosting.

So the ladies arrive at the house, they knock on the door, they wait a while, and no one comes to the door.
