No, I was looking more for a deep dive into the fact that the pandemic is making a lot

of people's dreams very intense. Have you had that

Freddie Krueger, right? Who am I doing an impression of? The Wicked Witch of the West, the scariest

of all dream demons. Listen, before we get started, I have an announcement to make, and it's that it is

shocked over.

The next four episodes, maybe five, I don't know, four at least,

our annual dive into the wild world of horror cinema.

And every year we like to tackle at least one franchise during this holiest of months

in the important cinema club calendar.

And this year, we've been doing this podcast for five years, and we finally

get to a nightmare on Elm Street. What do you think was the reticence about tackling this subject?

Because I like these movies, but every time it would come up, we'd be like, uh, nightmare on Elm Street.

Why not Texas Chainsaw Massacre instead? You know, I think that's just it.

I think we like these movies, but I think there are, I've always been other ones that we thought would be more fun to talk about, more fun to revisit.

And it's strange, too, because in our first October, I think we did Friday the 13th, which we're running basically parallel to the Nightmare and Elm Street movies,
