0:06.1	This is money that's taken from the pews and redistributed through grant programs to ministries, Apostulates, groups who are supposed to promote
0:16.8	the Catholic Church and to help those who are in need.
0:20.1	However, it's been shown that much of this money is going to causes that do not conform to Catholic teaching.
0:27.0	Today I'm talking with Michael Hitchborn, he's really the lion when it comes to this topic.
0:33.4	Michael Hitchborn is the founder and president of the Lipanto Institute.
0:37.0	He is a well-known public figure in the Pro Life Movement,
0:39.4	and he spent seven and a half years
0:41.0	as the American Life League director of the Defend the Faith Project.
0:45.3	In this capacity, Michael has researched and produced an annual report on organizations
0:50.4	receiving grant money from the Catholic campaign for human development.
0:55.6	This annual report exposes dozens of grantees that are promoting abortion, earth control,
1:02.4	homosexuality, and Marxism, and has led to a nationwide review of the C.C.H.D.
