Happy Friday. I hope you are enjoying these bonus Friday episodes we're bringing to you in January.

Today's topic is in response to something I hear from a lot of gardeners, and that is that you're

0:12.3

limited in space, and you're trying to make the most of the space that you have. But regardless

0:18.7

of whether you're limited on space or not, don't we all want to

0:22.8

get more with what we have? Don't we all want to get more production from the space that we're

0:27.7

gardening in? Whether we're truly working with a limited amount of space or like me, you know

0:33.9

that your limitations lie more in the time you put in, because for me, less space

0:38.6

obviously would mean less time and energy. Or maybe you simply want to up production without increasing

0:45.7

space. You want to be able to produce more for your family, but you don't want to add anything.

0:51.8

Or maybe you can't add anything. The point is getting more

0:55.2

from what we have, regardless of the space that we have, I think is something that we all turn

1:00.3

our heads to hear more about. How can we do that? Here's one thing I've learned, though. High

1:07.1

production doesn't just mean which crops will yield more than others, though that's definitely

1:12.4

something to consider. But it also can mean that you can choose crops that yield in a short

1:19.0

period of time, and if that's the case, then that frees up your garden space for another

1:23.7

planting, kind of like what we talked about in last week's episode about succession planting.

1:33.2

Another thing, though, about high production gardening is it can mean giving up certain crops that take up a lot of space for the amount of harvest that they ended up giving you,

1:38.5

or it could also mean strategically planning when to grow those, the ones that take up a lot of space for a little

1:46.1

bit of harvest. If I've got you curious about that, we're going to talk about all of these three

1:50.8

things today. But first, if you tuned into Tuesday's episode, you know that I have an announcement

1:57.3

coming today. And that is a brand new free live masterclass that I'll be hosting

2:04.8

called the productive garden masterclass. In this class I'm going to show you how you could possibly
