| 0:00.0 | Welcome to ASLAB Chems Clean, the podcast. I'm Danny K. White. I blog over at aslabchemsclean.com. |
| 0:08.1 | That's where I share my personal deslabification process. As I figure out ways to keep my own |

| 0:18.0 | in real life for real people, people who don't love cleaning and organizing. Thanks for joining me today. |
| 0:24.0 | This is podcast number 226 and I'm calling it energy takers versus energy givers because I am feeling the energy struggle these days. |
| 0:37.0 | I went to a conference last week for other bloggers. It was great. It was good to see some other people, but you guys, I was so useless. |
| 0:46.0 | I got back on Friday and went straight to homecoming and all that kind of stuff. Anyway, on Saturday, it's like I had absolutely nothing to give. |
| 0:56.0 | Anyway, so it just made me think about energy and just what things give energy and take energy. That was a thing that was worth it. |
| 1:04.0 | It was worth it to me and I know to build in some time. I don't like it when I get back on a Friday so that the day that I'm basically recovering from having traveled is a day when I like to with my family. |
| 1:15.0 | So that wasn't ideal. But there are things that I'm willing to put tons of energy into knowing that I'm going to have to recover from that. |
| 1:24.0 | I'm going to have to regain that energy. But there are other things in my house that it's not worth it. |
| 1:31.0 | Do you know what I mean? Like things that should not be taking energy, but just zap it like they just suck it away. |
| 1:38.0 | I thought about naming it energy suckers, but you know, I don't know that sounded tacky, but anyway, but that is what I'm talking about because it's just there's certain things that I'm willing to give energy for. |
| 1:50.0 | But a lot of things in my house, I'm not willing to give energy for. And so I have to figure out where should my energy go and when to keep it from being something that doesn't deserve to suck the life out of me. |
| 2:06.0 | But does if I don't do it, I feel like I'm getting confusing, but I'm going to keep going. Before I get started though, I wanted to remind you that I do have two books, how to manage your home without losing your mind and decluttering at the speed of life. |
| 2:18.0 | And they're both available wherever books are sold in whatever format you like to consume your books. So you can get them in paperback and mark them up. You can get them on Kendall or nook. |
| 2:29.0 | Or you can get them as audiobooks. They're available on Audible. And I think every other audiobook format, wherever you can get it. Also, a lot of libraries. |
| 2:39.0 | Anyway, so those will take you through without rambling because I, you know, had professional editors on those. Anyway, so let's talk about energy management. |
| 2:50.0 | So there is a lot of buzz on the internet, especially in podcasts that I listen to. People talking about the anyogram and some of you all are going, what is this and some of you all are going, yeah, she's finally going to talk about that. |
| 3:02.0 | And a lot of you are like me because I know that because you all tell me you're like me and you're like, oh, my word. Seriously, somebody else talking about the anyogram when I don't even care. And that is basically me. And I don't mean that like I anyway, but I get a little bit like, oh my goodness, seriously, they're going to start talking about the anyogram because they start talking in all these codes. |
| 3:19.0 | And they're like, oh, I'm a blood. I'm a this number and I'm a that number. And I'm like, I can't remember what every number is. So that means nothing to me. But anyway. |
| 3:27.0 | But what the reason I'm bringing this up is that I think I mentioned it when I didn't interview with Emily of mom struggling well. |
