0:20.0	Two hours outside of Pittsburgh is a place called Altuna,
0:23.0	a mid-sized Pennsylvania city developed during the railroad expansion.
0:26.8	That's not all it's known for.
0:28.4	It's also known for a mansion that has some pretty unhappy ghosts in it,
0:32.5	and one very haunted wedding dress.
0:34.9	Today we're talking about the Baker Mansion,
0:37.0	and the doomed family and their possessions within it.
0:40.4	The Baker Mansion was built in 1844 and was originally home to Iron Master,
0:44.9	Elias Baker, and his wife, Heady Baker.
0:48.0	Elias and Heady, great names, had two sons,
0:50.3	David Woods Baker and Sylvester Baker,
0:52.4	which they moved into the house, described as a quote,
0:55.0	tolerable good mansion house from their prior residents in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
1:00.2	Shortly after they arrived at the Baker Mansion,
1:02.5	Heady and Elias had a daughter, named Anna.
1:05.1	A fourth child, Margaretta, was born in 1839,
1:08.4	but she died of diphtheria when she was two.
1:11.3	Along with being a rich iron baron with steel shares all over Pennsylvania,
1:15.9	Elias was a bit of an uptight asshole.
