Hey guys, welcome to another episode of the Blessed and Bostup podcast.

Before we get into anything, I just want to say thank you to you guys.

A lot of you have been sending me messages or like commenting on Instagram posts and email just expressing that you're praying for me and all of these things because I've been pretty open about how to make God the CEO.

Just this caregiver transition that I'm in right now and just feeling the feels of, you know, what everything that's going on with my grandmother.

So just thank you everyone for the con where especially those in the society, I was supposed to go live.

And do a session, I just didn't have it like I it was just one of those bad days and everyone was just so supportive.

So I just have to say thank you. I feel so grateful to have an audience who lets me be human and lets me feel the feels and doesn't hold it against me any type of way.

It really helps the pressure not to be on during this difficult time. So thank you guys. Just thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have a couple of special announcements. So the first is we are doing a fast within the society.

So for you guys that don't know the society with myself and Kavaya is our membership community of the podcast like this is the place where we go beyond the messages and we grow together in faith and in business.

And this community we've been doing it for a couple of years now and one of the foundations of our community is fasting.

The Bible says that some things only come through prayer and through fasting. Fasting has been a huge part of my life. I remember a couple of years ago I fasted for the first time and that one day that one day of me turning down my plate.

I saw so many breakthroughs happen and I was able to hear God clearly the more clearly than I ever had up into that point.

I was able to get prayers answered things that I felt like we're being held up and I was getting radio silence about in my prayer time I got clarity I got instruction and it was really just a mind blowing experience for me.

And then after that God had actually instructed me to fast once a week for a year.

And I think forgive me if I get the years wrong I believe that was 2018 to 2019 where I fasted every Monday for a year and I believe that that year of fasting was the foundation of me growing deeper in my relationship with God and it was also a training ground in a training period that I believe

really prepared me for everything that came after that. And so fasting like I said the Bible says that some things only come through prayer and fasting and that's why it's such a huge part of our community.

And you guys know we do these fast all the time we do social media fast but this time this is going to be a food fast.
