What's up, world?

World. How you doing out there? Wherever you are in the world.

I feel like the world has drifted into some strange zone.

You know, we're so conscious of the zones upon the planet that we move in and out of

the temperate zones, the tropics, the deserts where I'm going tomorrow, in fact, to the desert zone.

I'm going to out by Joshua Tree, my buddy Justin's in town, as I think I mentioned in the last

episode, we're going out to Slab City, Bombay Beach, the Salt and Sea, which is kind of this bizarre

post-apocalyptic lunar situation. I've never been there. I've been wanting to go for a long time.

Justin got down here and we were sort of talking about like, okay, what are things you've

always wanted to do in LA and have never done? He's only been here a few times, so there are a few

of them, but one of them wants to go to the Salt and Sea. So, called my buddy, Tal Ruspoli, who some

of you may know from the podcast he's been on at least twice, maybe three times at this point.

And he's got a place out there and he knows people, knows the scene, so he sort of gave me some of

inside skinny. And so we're going to go out there tomorrow night and hang out there and then go

up into Joshua Tree and cruise around the desert zone. Anyway, the zone, so we're conscious of

the zones on the planet, but I feel like, you know, we forget that the planet itself is hurtling

through space and moving through zones. It's hurtling around the sun, just as the moon is

hurtling around the earth, but it's also the whole fucking solar system is moving through space.

The whole Milky Way galaxy, in fact, is moving through space. Everything is moving within some

larger realm. And so we're moving through zones that we're not even aware our zones because we're

not, unless you're an astrophysicist or something, you're not thinking about the fact that the planet
