When I hear women today talking about the evils of the sexual revolution, I think they know

nothing of history.

They have no conception of what the pill did for women's professional advancement.

You know, what it meant for women to be able to plan their pregnancies.

Now to be sidelined by unwanted pregnancies, you know, not to have to seek out illegal

abortions.

I mean, they just don't have a clue what their own lives would be like.

It's my pleasure to be here.

It's great to have you back on and there's a big issue I want to talk to you about, which

is feminism.

Feminism is something you've been thinking about, writing about grappling with for a long

time in your books, of course, in your speaking, in your civil liberties campaigning, going all

the way back to the huge, feministic battles of the 1980s between liberal feminism and

authoritarian feminism.

So you've been thinking about this for a while and you've ridden a brilliant long read

for spiked about feminism and its turn against freedom.

So I want to dig down into some of that with you and really work out what's going on

with feminism today.
