did you set up your uh your your drip panels for your water this morning? Your, your, uh, your clean water and, uh, I hope you're charging your, uh, your pedal bike. Hang on, I'm trying to think of like what, how many, how many years in the future would we have to be for 800 episodes? What are we at to something now? Yeah, it's not that far. It's not that far. Okay, yeah, I'll still be alive by then. Okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Roughly. Yeah, roughly. Yeah, roughly. That's, uh, this is another 600 episodes, maybe, yeah, 10, 12 years. Yeah, 10, 12 years, right. Um, yeah, all hail baron. Let's not.

1:12.1

Oh, no.

1:14.1

I'm Brad Schuemaker.

1:14.6

How are you?

1:21.3

He won't be 35 by then, like presumably some amount of constitutionality will still be in effect.

1:22.2

Oh, please.

1:24.3

Hi, everybody.

1:24.9

How are you doing?

1:38.7

Look, I want to start this off, this podcast off with two very particular Vinny things that I need to express. The first one is, have you seen the price of plywood recently? Have you guys seen the price of plywood?

2:19.6

You know, I have not. I've let my daily tracking of plywood prices fall by the wayside a little bit recently. Good gravy. I've been too busy staring at the prices of memory and SSDs, but I guess everything is expensive now for all kinds of reasons. Boy, plywood is expensive. I've got to do these built-in shelves from my basement for the storage. It's like the next big thing I need to do. And I was pricing it out. And I was like, okay, I'll do this. And I'll just, I'll just do plywood for the shelving portion of it. The thing that the objects will rest on. Sure. And I'll just get, I'll get a four by eight foot sheets, cut it in half. And we will have 20-ish inches of deep shell there's like 50 50 plus bucks a sheet of plywood and not even for the good stuff per sheet

2:26.5

you can buy so what i wound up doing was like dang i'm just gonna buy lumber i'll just buy

2:33.4

woods woods make your own wood. Could you make your own plywood? Yeah, I mean, if you want to, so all plywood is is like thin sheets of wood. Yeah, and they're sandwiched together. And in perpendicular, like kind of like the grain is sort of they alternate to give it stability yeah right

2:51.0

you could probably make that yourself yeah yeah but you but why would you unless unless you

2:56.2

it's a sheet unless prices were $50 a pop so I just got um instead of getting like three quarter

3:01.6

inch plywood I just got three quarter inch boards for the same price which usually to me is like

3:06.5

ridiculous because a full

3:09.0

eight foot board, eight foot by 12 inch board, um, would be very expensive.

3:14.9

This is a pre-painted board.

3:16.1

So it's finger jointed.

3:16.9

So it is a little, it's not just a hardwood.
