Okay, there's usually a weird wave of anxiety that hits me whenever I have an unexpected hour of free time.

Logically, I know I should be happy.

And I am.

Don't get me wrong.

But I'm also very anxious because I didn't see it coming.

I don't know what to do with myself because there's only 974 things on my to-do list. And I also know that I need to exercise or take a walk or do something for my physical body. And I also know that I need to spend

time with God. And good grief. An hour goes by really fast because I've already spent the first 15

minutes trying to decide what I should be doing and worrying

about my choices. And so now I'm already down to 45 minutes. I don't know if this is relatable

to anybody, but sure happens to me a lot. Well, I won't say a lot because I don't feel like I get

a ton of unexpected free hours, but it happens to me. Now, before I had kids, there was no anxiety

with unexpected free time. There was no anxiety with this blessed surprise hour or two of life.

I think it's because it feels like this rare gift, this gem of a gift, this treasure of time is something I don't usually get.

It's hard to kind of stop and think the thought, like, what do I want to do?
