How have we consistently generated such incredible success stories and loyalty in our community? Being in a family means being in a community. For a community or family to be healthy there are exactly FIVE timeless truths that must be present, and we've intentionally "baked" all five of them into our community and you may not have even realized it! In this episode I go into each of these characteristics of an effective FAMILY and COMMUNITY (the rules are the SAME). My goal of this episode is to convince you that you NEED a community if you don't have one yet, and to help you be a better parent if you are one! I'd love to hear your feedback!

0:06.8	about the necessity of being a part of a supporting community. You have to be a part of a supportive
0:18.8	community if you're going to succeed and thrive long term in business
0:24.3	and in life. It's a necessity. It's a spiritual law. You can call it common sense. You can call it
0:32.2	just the way we were designed biologically, if you'd like. I believe it's a spiritual law,
0:39.1	and I believe it's very clearly spelled out biblically, but that's exactly what we need
0:44.3	in order to thrive. It's how families are set up. It's how the most effective cultures and
0:50.6	businesses are set up, community is core.
0:55.8	And I'm going to pull back the curtain a little bit on some of the things that we do intentionally.
1:01.0	Now, if you remember episode zero of this podcast, I talked about the proof, the evidence,
1:09.2	the facts that we use as a foundation for this community, for everything that we teach, the evidence, the facts that we use as a foundation for this community, for everything
1:13.8	that we teach, the way we run our business, the way we grow our team, the way we hire,
1:19.1	the way we lead and educate others on these topics that you hear about around here.
1:24.6	It's all based on a foundation of thousands of years of time-tested
1:30.1	biblical principles that have led to repeatedly over and over and over again, undeniable evidence
1:36.5	that those who embrace these principles succeed wildly above and beyond those who don't. And the
1:42.3	evidence is undeniable. I'm not going to go into that.
1:44.7	I've done that on occasions. Episode zero has more of those details. But if we're going to use that
1:50.8	as our foundation, and you're still with me, then here's five things that we do around here,
1:55.7	very specifically, that mirror being an effective parent.
2:06.1	And not that we see ourselves as the parents of the students in this community, that's not it at all.
2:13.1	But if you're going to run a successful culture, if you're going to establish a set of norms that people can operate in and thrive within. It requires a certain type of leadership.
