Welcome to A Slob Kems Clean, the podcast. I'm Danny K. White. I blog over at A Slob Kems Clean.com.

0:08.1

That's where I share my personal deslabification process. As I figure out ways to keep my own home

0:13.5

under control, I share the truth about cleaning and organizing strategies that actually work in

0:18.1

real life for real people, people who love cleaning and organizing. I'm also the author of two books,

0:25.6

How to manage your home without losing your mind and decluttering at the speed of life,

0:32.7

not light life. Those are available wherever pictures sold, you can go to aslobkemsclean.com.com

0:37.9

slash book and find out information there about those. Okay, so this is podcast number 224.

0:44.3

Thanks for joining me today. I think I'm going to call it decision fatigue outside the home,

0:49.4

about them, I'm talking about the habits or the non-negotiables or whatever and it's a way of

1:20.0

looking at those things that have to be done every day. Okay, when I thought of, oh, I just need some

1:25.9

better habits in my home, I thought I was going to come to this point where I would just, oh my

1:32.6

word, my dishes are done. When did I do those? Like because bad habits, that's how things happen,

1:38.9

right? I mean, I have plenty of bad habits where I look around and go, I don't recall doing that,

1:44.4

I just did it. But that doesn't happen with good habits. And so over time of really working on

1:51.0

things in my house, the daily stuff that I was working on getting done, I basically had to come to a

1:56.8

point where I realized that's never going to happen. Like it's never going to be, oh my goodness,

2:03.2

you know, I just can't sleep because there's dirty dishes in my kitchen. Oh, I can sleep, okay?

2:08.8

But waiting for that to happen, waiting for me to just, this just to be an automatic thing was not
