Today is the 16th of May, and it's a special podcast because I have refreshed my top 400 prospects in the game.

It was an effort that I went on probably for a good week, taking what I did in the

preseason. I think the last refresh I did was in February. Took a look at some of the

performances in the first month or so of the season. And I didn't want to completely turn it upside down because some of the guys have

really, really struggled out of the gate. Some players have been injured. How far do you move

those guys down? How far do you move the kids up that are off to scorching starts, but I've got a

500 babbitt. I'm looking at you, Nick Moribito, but I love

Nick Moribito, but like how high do you put those guys? So it's, you know, it's a tough exercise

when it's early in the season. I wanted to wait until the middle of May to put it out. I know

a lot of other publications. I know at least Baseball America put theirs out a couple of weeks ago,

their top 100 list.

But I just didn't feel comfortable doing that.

One is just didn't have enough information on players that were,

that had started playing this season and maybe added a pitch or had done something new.

Plus, I wanted to make sure that the guys that started the season in the major leagues

would be through with their minor league eligibility.
