So I was wondering about something, and that is artificial intelligence and how it's working in schools, higher education as well as like middle schools and high schools.

And then I thought, hey, I've got other stuff to talk to him about too. Thought it might make for an interesting interview. And it did. So what follows is an interview with Drew Flam. He is the, again, the president of Grace College. Let's dive right into this. What's the biggest challenge for somebody who has your job? I think he told me that most of the job for somebody's a college president is fundraising. Is that true?

You know, what is both beautiful and challenging is that you can go from one thing to the next

in a day, right? So, I mean, today, I had a donor visit this

morning to ask someone for, you know, a significant gift. And then a radio podcast interview with

Brandt, which is, of course, a high of the day. Right, right, right. Devotions then with our athletic staff, you know, and then I got to have a hard HR meeting.

And then we're going to go into a cabinet meeting this afternoon.

So it's, it's all over the place and varied.

And you have so many constituencies from your students to parents to, you know, the churches you're affiliated with, to donors, to the local

community, to faculty and staff. So for me, that's been the greatest adjustment is just how to

manage all the various constituencies that you're trying to honor and uplift and move forward

towards, you know, the vision that we believe God's given us. What a huge job. I guess I figured that, but that is huge. What have you learned about

yourself since starting this a few years ago? Yeah, mainly how insufficient I am and how much

I need Jesus more than ever. I can understand. Because you quickly realize I can't manage all of that on my own.

Plus, you know, like I have a wife that is to be my most important earthly relationship.

And I've got three kids that, you know, need a dad more than Grace College needs a president.
