Welcome back to the super diligent podcast, what have you. I'm Rachel Jankovic and

Becker Merkel. And guys, this is a surprise, but we're sisters.

And I know.

When we're in the same town together, we podcast together.

Just seems like it's hardly ever these days, but we do it.

Here and there. Here and there but we do it here and there we do it Rachel I have to tell you

what happened on my way here to your house okay the saddest little thing I'm driving

along kind of over by Robinson.

Yeah.

And little teeny baby fawn, like I've never seen such a tiny little deer,

standing in the road, just looking confused.

So I like stop and it starts sort of scampering around

and not knowing what to do and wipes out,

just full legs spayed out like a bambi look and then jumps up and then kind of jumps over the edge of the road into the grass but disappears completely in the grass.

And I was like, where on earth is this mother? And then I see across the field this deer just standing there looking. And I'm like, there is literally nothing I can do to help this situation right now because like how am I going to tell the deer like over here your baby is over here

and the baby has disappeared like entirely disappeared from view.

I know.

So I just figured I would drive away was probably the best thing I could do so the deer could look for her baby in peace, but I just hope that they

touched base again because it was so teeny and it was just so pitiful.

I know with the little white spots it was really cute but yeah I know

bummer but I know the sadness of the the wildlife the little wildlife tragedies

unfurling but I was like, I don't know how old that baby was, but you know, lost. Lost in the bushes.
