Hi, everybody.

It's me, Stuart Fishbein, practicing home birth obstetrician, and I'm sitting in my home

office, just beginning a few days off. And before I could take time off,

there's been something that's been on my mind for a while that I sort of wanted to talk about.

And that's the sort of the misinformation out there regarding the American Medical Association.

The American Medical Association has this sort of gravitas instantly in the media of being a

credible organization that represents physicians.

And actually, nothing could be further from the truth.

And in an era where misdirection and misinformation and disinformation and disinformation and malfeasance and misfeasance and every feasance of any kind is going on,

it's hard to know who to go to to trust.

But I just want to tell you that my experience

over the almost 40 years of my career has been that the, at least in the last 20, that

the American Medical Association is not what you think they are, and they're not somebody

that's credible.
