Hey everyone and welcome to the latest edition of Eagle Eye. I'm Dave Zengaro. We have Rubin Frank and Barrett Brooks joining us today.

Barrett's going to be joining us throughout the summer.

And you know, typically we try to is going to be joining us throughout the summer.

And typically, we try to give everyone an escape.

We try to talk about football.

And we've done that throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

We're not going to do that today.

We're not going to talk football.

It's just honestly not the right move.

So I apologize for those of you who tuned in today thinking you're going to hear us talk about training camp and position battles because that's not what we're going to do today.

I encourage you to stay with us though because I think we're going to have an important and open discussion about race, about an athlete's role in social change, and about our roles as citizens, black, white, every color in

social change.

It's important to have these discussions, so I'm happy to have both you gentlemen to talk about it. I do want to start today

Jeffrey Lori just before we started recording this release a statement

I thought it was notable that he had been silent until this point, but a pretty lengthy statement. He talked about

his repulsion at racial injustice in the country,

and he vowed to do more.

He vowed to use his platform for better.

Let's start there gentlemen. Jeffrey Lorry's statement, what did you take from it? Yeah, I think, you know, I think Philadelphia is really likely to have a leader like Jeff Lurie who has that platform and has, you know, puts his money where his mouth is and always has with donations charitable endeavors you know I mean the Eagles

youth partnership which is now Eagles charities and I mobile the Eagles have been as

active in contributing to the community as any team that I've ever seen.

And I think Jeff is a very thoughtful guy who has devoted a good chunk of his life to affecting change in the
