Hey, Lori.

Hi. So Laurie is many things. She is a

US Today bestselling author. She has a podcast. She is the founder of Dry Society, which is one of

the things we're going to be talking about today. She is an event producer, a recovery advocate,

and she's a former drunken housewife. Yes. And Laurie's just one of these people when you meet her

that you just don't forget her. And we met a year and a half ago,ish, roughly. It was like

September. And I was hearing about this, like, there's this recovery gala in Reno. And I just moved near to Reno into Lake Tahoe. And I'm like, what? There's a recovery gala thing? How do I not know about this? Why am I not going? So I got tickets and I went and it was fabulous. Lorry did an amazing job. And we got to know each other then and at various other recovery events

and just, yeah, to know her is to love her. She's just one of, she's one of those personalities

and sobriety that you don't ever forget. And honestly, Lori, sobriety needs people like you.

Like, just take the prisoners, doesn't take any shit, gets it done.
