Well, hello, true seekers.

Today we are going to listen to two more parables Jesus told while he was here on this earth.

Just like last week's episode, these two parables have something in common.

Jesus had a lot to say about money while he was here on earth.

Why did Jesus talk about money and the rich and the poor as much as he did?

Because he knew that money would be an obstacle that would cause people to stumble in their walk with the Lord.

He knew of all things on this earth that money could become an idol that takes our eyes off of faith in God and places it

on faith in possessions and earthly things that can only be bought with money. Jesus wanted to make

sure his disciples knew that we are not to put all of our faith in money. Money cannot get us to

heaven. Only Jesus can. Let's listen to jesus had to say in these two parables jesus told his disciples

there was a rich man whose manager was accused of wasting his possessions so he called him in and asked him

what is this i hear about you give an account of your management because you cannot be my manager

any longer. The manager said to himself, what shall I do now? My master is taking away my job.

I'm not strong enough to dig and I'm ashamed to beg. I know what I'll do so that when I lose my job

here, people will welcome me into their houses. So he called in each one of his

master's debtors. He asked the first, how much do you owe my master? Nine hundred gallons of

olive oil, he replied. The manager told him, take your bill, sit down quickly and make it 450.

Then he asked the second, and how much do you owe? A thousand bushels
