Welcome back to the show. Are you overwhelmed by the amount of books you have? I can say from

years of coaching, women and families, books have to be one of the

hardest categories for people. And we're going to be diving into the main reasons why that is,

but ultimately, today I want the conversation to help you say goodbye to books that aren't serving

you anymore. So you can create space for your favorites. So grab a cup of tea, grab an espresso if it's morning

time. That's what I have next to me. And let's talk about it. But you know me. You know I love some

friendly reminders. So friendly reminder number one, decluttering your books doesn't mean you're

limiting your reading options. Okay. So I think sometimes that's the perspective we have,

and then that paralyzes us and keeps us stuck, right? There's always a library. Number two,

I'm never going to tell you to get rid of all your books. Like, if books is your thing,

keep the books. This is really for people who actually want to declutter,

right? I know it's very, it can feel like a personal attack for someone to tell you to, you know,

declutter your books, but it's all good. And number three, don't feel like you have to tackle

all of your books all at once, right? We have this conversation frequently. When you tackle

certain categories all at once that are,

you know, voluminous and have lots of things, it can feel really overwhelming. So give yourself

permission to do it in shorter spurts and give yourself grace and go through it slowly.
