Diving into what prompted her to move from Chicago to Paris in early 2015, as well as settling into a new community, let alone a new country, Sonia talks honestly about being patient, enjoying her own company, slowing down and the process of reinvention and transformation.

Today I have a guest who's joining me from Paris who's going to talk about her

transition to Paris. She just wrote a memoir that came out this past spring and

it's titled Waking Up in Paris, written by Sonia Chocette.

Sonia is a spiritual advisor, teacher, and instructor,

But what we're gonna focus on in this conversation

is this journey, she went on for two years and how yes she's in Paris Paris is

amazing beautiful we dream about Paris Paris is still real life and

making a big jump like that, in her case from Chicago,

is not something that's just gonna magically fix everything.

And I think that's important to keep in mind

no matter wherever we wish to jump we can definitely and should definitely pay attention to what our instincts are telling us but we also need to have patience and she's going to talk about what Paris has taught her, how it worked as far as building her network, her social connections, and where she's at now, three years now, removed as she moved in January 2015.
