Before we start the episode today, we just wanted to quickly say we got some sad news recently

that one of the moderators of our Discord, Hugo, passed away unexpectedly recently.

And, you know, we are super thankful really to anybody, listeners, anyone who gives us their time.

Time is a very valuable thing. And then especially for someone

who, you know, gives even more of their time and into making a community more welcoming and

for more people and just kind of providing that to a lot of different people.

And we just wanted to say that, you know,

obviously it's very tragic. And, you know, we're really thankful for just all the time

that he contributed to us and to other people.

Yeah, Hugo was a really beloved member of the Discord community. And I, you know,

the Discord, we don't spend a lot of time in there, but we've been just really moved by what

a kind of positive and friendly and welcoming place it is. And Hugo was a really big part of that.

I've known him a little bit since back when I was

doing Russell Splania. He was a listener to Russellsplania as well and was again just such a

important part of that community. And yeah, he's he's really going to be missed. And we were really,

really sad to hear of his passing. So we just wanted to

take a moment and remember him before we started the show. Yeah, we're going to be, you know,

making some donations in Hugo's name to a couple of charities that were important to him that we,

that we were informed about. And that's the Friends of Oatland Wildlife Center

and the First City Pride Center, both in Savannah, Georgia.
