| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the happiness podcast. I'm Dr. Robert Puff. This past winter we've had a lot of rain in Southern California and one of the effects of the rain is green and flowers. |
| 0:21.0 | The hillsides are beautiful with all the colors of the vibrant flowers that are blossoming |
| 0:27.8 | because of all the rain. Near my home, there's a road called the Otago Highway and it runs right through the local mountains. |
| 0:36.4 | It's a beautiful winding road and we went on it yesterday to see the flowers in the green hills, and it truly was magnificent. |
| 0:44.8 | Because it's a windy road, it's mostly a single lane, and they have pullouts, but there aren't |
| 0:50.9 | too many times where you can pass someone unless they pull out. |
| 0:54.0 | Well, as we were driving along this beautiful road and really enjoying the hillside |

| 1:16.2 | And for the next 10 minutes, as we're driving through these beautiful hills, |
| 1:21.0 | he was honking, he was screaming, he was flashing his lights, he was doing |
| 1:25.9 | everything in his power to try to get the car in front of him to pull over. Well, they weren't. |
| 1:31.3 | So in the meantime, he was missing out on all the beauty around him. |
| 1:35.3 | And unfortunately, I can't imagine the passenger he had driving with him in his convertible |
| 1:41.0 | was enjoying herself, as he was so angry. |
| 1:44.0 | Well when he finally passed a car in front of us he I felt really was missing out on life |
| 1:50.7 | and all the beauty around him because he was in such a hurry and was in such an angry |
| 1:56.1 | state just because he had to go a little slower for a little bit of time. |
| 2:01.0 | It was very sad. Now my point here isn't the justice man because I'm sure we've all |
| 2:05.9 | seen people like him or maybe we've been in that state before too. It's more so to learn |
| 2:11.5 | from his mistakes and say okay what was going on here? |
