I can't help but think we have a lot more that unites us than divides us.

It has a little bit to do with like how much I love people and a little bit to do with how much I think everybody's full of shit.

Ladies and gems, I'm here with the incredible Mike Dernt, and today we're going to be talking about 10 things, Mike, that you can't live without. What's number one? Apparently one of them is glasses. It's glasses. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can't live without bringing a bass with me for two reasons. One, I'll get a call at some point and says, we got to do a thing. And I'll sudden, I'm, it's a panic mode.

Yeah. I was like, I got to learn 70 songs again. Oh my gosh. And they're all coming from left field that we haven't played in forever. Or there's just an emotional thing to it where it's kind of like, it's like, it's like if you haven't seen your dog or cat in a minute, you like, you just really need that hug. Well, the bass is that for me.

But which is the desert island base? I want one. I just want which is it? Which is the desert island base? You can only have one base on that desert island. It's the G3. It's my G3. It's my G3. Beautiful. Yeah. It sings notes differently. You'll pick up a guitar or a bass and you'll play one and you go,

and you just know there are songs in this thing. You can hear it, you know, and you pick it up,

and especially with guitars where you're eating tons of sub-harmonics and stuff, but like,

like there's songs in this thing. And then I feel like when you go away, you're not just getting life experience. That thing is probably absorbing

more experience for songs too. It's either in the case saying, let me the hell out of here,

and it's mad at you, or you leave it out, and it's just taking it in. So,

incredible.
