This week, as the world comes to a standstill for the global climate strikes, we ask

what's going to happen next week when world leaders gather at the United Nations in New York.

Plus we speak to Amina Mohammed, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations.

Okay guys, this is it. this is a big weekend for us we have just come off the back of the most remarkable day yesterday at the climate strike we three were together in New York

and millions of people around the world.

Kids, as well as everyone else of all ages, took the day off work, they took the day off school,

and they came together to demand an appropriate response to the climate action that actually meets the

scale of the challenge. Now this of course is meaningful and impactful in and of itself, but

it's particularly important because in just 48 hours world leaders will be

gathering in New York for the Secretary General's climate summit. Now it's

interesting I mean this is sort of a mirror of what happened five years ago

15 months before Paris and that event has now been replicated by the current

Secretary General Antonio Gutierrez to bring world leaders back to New York to build the political momentum that is

going to be necessary to take us through the next 15 months. So today we're

going to talk about where we are with all of that, what's going to happen next week and how can we make it a success?

and we were, it wasn't called a strike then right

in 2014 it was a march I was an absolutely astonishing march in New York
