I think it's relevant to, I think, most of our listeners, certainly is something we have worked on and often struggled over our careers and business careers.

I use different techniques that we'll talk about here

in this podcast. But I remember back in the late 90s, was still in my software sales and marketing

career. And back then, the way I usually took notes was in the typical legal pad that I would

have in some kind of leather binder,

depending on the last conference I went to, right, where I had gotten a free leather binder.

And I would make notes there and then turn off those pieces of paper and put them in a file

related to that client or that customer or that project.

And I was sitting in a meeting once with a guy who was using a notebook, a leather bound, probably not real leather, but it seemed like it was a bound notebook.

And that's where he was making his notes.
