Thinking basketball podcast, my name is Ben. Welcome back. Today's special draft episode. It's the morning after the 2019 NBA draft and I have draft expert Koh-Swicker, co-founder of the Steppian. He's worked for the Phoenix Sons in the past year, and he just

knows everything there is to know about all these draft picks and prospects. So I asked him to come in today.

He was nice enough to stop by for about an hour and a half breaking

down every team draft from Atlanta. We start there. We work our way alphabetically

to Washington and if you want to jump ahead and listen to one of your

I've been catching up on your podcast.

I heard a couple of the pre-draft as far as you

sorting through statistically, like what translates historically with free throw percentage and 3 point percentage,

so that should be a fun one.

Yeah, it's interesting for me because I historically have not done a huge amount of analytics

work.

Back in the day, it was watching a lot of college basketball for me and I test stuff, but lately

I've really been trying to catch up on things that

forecast or project that may be a little outside the box so I've I've been jazz to

have someone like you who you know is really we're the draft guru if you will oh God I don't

know if you know this but you can actually blend analytics in the eyes as that seems
