So I'm sharing this just because I hadn't thought about it this way.

I was reading this from Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

And he said, we must learn to regard people less in light of what they do

and more in light of what they suffer.

Oh, man.

Yeah, I just hadn't thought about that.

But that's really true.

We're always like, what do you do? What do you do? What do you do?

But the real story is what they said. And I'm not saying that people will volunteer that or should or anything.

But that's just a different way of thinking when you're meeting somebody.

I wonder, I wonder what's really going on.

This is almost as interesting as the gorilla hypothetical.

And honestly, I think Sherry might find it more interesting.
