DeFilippo discussing the finer points of what went wrong on the internet and who's to blame.

0:16.1

Welcome to Grumpy Old Geeks, I'm Jason DeFilippo. And I'm Brian Schultmeister.

Stay tuned at the end of this podcast for my sit down with Rob Reed, author of the upcoming novel

0:24.6

After On. We talk about a lot of interesting tech, including Brian's favorite topic, AI.

How about a little follow up?

0:31.2

Uh, I am dealing with a fishing scam this week, Jason. What?

0:34.8

1:17.9

1:22.4

nutter scam. They don't provide a badge number. The IRS does not call you and then ask you to call

1:27.5

back at a number. They actually have people call you if they're dealing with this sort of stuff.

1:31.7

It's complete and total fishing scam. So in case anybody else starts getting these calls,

1:35.7

because I've never had them before. This is pretty new. Now you know.

1:39.4

Yeah, this seems something like, you know, the FBI should be dealing with though.
