Hello, simple tens. I'm Joshua Philzmilburn and I'm Ryan Nicodemus and together we are the minimalist you know Ryan spring cleaning is right around the corner

But we need and wait until spring we need an even wait till tomorrow to declutter our homes and today

We're starting to get back to the basics

So this is just you and me in the studio. We're gonna talk about decluttering

We're gonna talk about organizing and we're gonna talk about letting go of excess stuff

We've got a lot of questions today. So let's jump right in the first one is from John and Oakland

I had a question about my parents kind of go into more meaningful life

I have done so myself luckily I just had a big move right about the time I was thinking about selling it to the hotel

And getting rid of my opposition and it was great and I was talking to my parents about it

I found out my dad is very much a adjusted taste guy

That is really a very good his core

He's a big goes and buys Christmas lights the day after Christmas they can have them

You know spend a little less money on it overall and then he like I can't see himself like a little bit of like a Santa Claus I guess

He's anytime anybody has any problems or they have a question you know in their own or how he can

You can walk him down to the basement like I think this might help and it does and feels great

I don't know how much it happens to him anymore but I know that that is a big part of kind of how he sees identity and like the neighborhood and stuff

I was wondering you know when you say that what's the worst they happen to get rid of this stuff

Well you know the one answer is I like oh well you know he won't have a bunch of stuff in his basement where like he can go and guess up

But really like I think that he does type a lot of identity and you know he's 70 years old

I don't know if I can convince him to the middle of the thing because of the way of life

And I get the philosophy because you know he's just I think he might just be happy with kind of where he is
